LAYOUT OF DOWNTOWN SQUARE FOR RAGBRAI:
Beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25 a large portion of the square will start closing to the public to finish set-up of RAGBRAI. The square will re-open on Wednesday, July 27 at 8 a.m. There may still be certain side streets blocked off as the committee gets things picked up, but residents should be able to access all businesses beginning at 8 am. Residents that live in apartments on square can park in front of city hall while the square is closed during RAGBRAI.
The square will be closed beginning from East 1st Street (Hwy 2), north along NW Church Street (Hwy 69) and Main Street to NW 4th Street. An extended section that will also be closed is from NE 2nd Street (south side of courthouse) north along NE Idaho Street to NE 4th Street. Also, extended wings portion NE 2nd Street (between Community Services bldg and Community Center), and NE Idaho to Q Street (south side of Dollar General and Denny's Plumbing).
PLEASE HAVE YOUR VEHICLES MOVED OFF THE SQUARE BY 5:30 P.M. ON MONDAY JULY 25.
