Please join us for a participatory planning process on broadband technology and community vitality in Leon, including group work sessions and networking that will result in an Action Plan. The planning process will be focused primarily around, but not limited to, the following topics:

  • Revitalizing downtown through leveraging broadband and WiFi technologies.
  • Bring residents and visitors alike downtown to The Square as the center of Leon.
  • Providing access to broadband across all members of our community.
  • Generating consensus on goals that could be accomplished within the next several years.

Workshop Details: The community workshop will be held from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, August 3 in the NE Room at the Leon Community Center (203 NE 2nd Street). There will be a community-wide meeting from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm following the workshop in the Square downtown.

RSVPing here will automatically register you for both events. To attend, please register by close of business on Monday, July 25.

Beverages and lunch will be provided.
