For the past thirty years, Jack DePond Insurance has been providing services for people all across Iowa. Jack moved from Polk County to Leon in 2000, and has been serving the citizens of southern Iowa ever since. He has also been a pastor for the past twenty-two years.
Jack believes in the value of insurance and savings, and makes it a personal goal to help others get to a point where they are secure—which he believes has a lot to do with people’s attitude towards money.
Jack has three children who are all married with families. His wife, Mary Ellen, also assists him with running his business.
Jack realizes the importance of staying involved in his community, and he does this through volunteering his time, money, and expertise to various organizations around town including Chamber and Rotary.
As an active community member himself, Jack strives to ensure that he has personal relations with all of his customers. He wants the customer to trust him, and know exactly what they are buying.
Jack is very appreciative of the many different businesses that provide services for him in the community. He believes in small town services with small town values, and truly believes that everything you need can be found right here in Leon. He knows that one of the benefits to small-town living is knowing everyone else, and he feels fortunate to know the people that provide services to him every day.
We want to thank Jack and Mary Ellen for their love and dedication for our community. They are great leaders throughout everything they do for the town of Leon.
